Founded by artist Alice Chung, Hong Kong City Art Studio is dedicated to the preservation and contemporary expression of Gongbi painting. Through meticulous brushwork, layered color, and the poetry of observation, the studio cultivates a space where tradition and modernity meet.

自傳統水墨啟蒙，我在 花鳥工筆的靜謐世界中找到自己的聲音。
工筆教會我放慢、尊重細節，並讓描繪的對象自己說話。
如今，我的創作關注「靜」的詩意——花瓣停頓的一瞬、羽翼呼吸的間隙。

在課堂上，我帶領學生建立穩固的技法，同時培養他們對形與節奏的敏感度。 藝術不急躁。我們透過觀察、反覆與溫柔的自信累積而成長。
rained in traditional Chinese painting, I gradually found my voice in the quiet world of bird-and-flower Gongbi. The discipline taught me to slow down, to honor detail, and to let the subject reveal itself. Today, my work explores the poetry of stillness — the moment a petal pauses, the breath between wingbeats.
In my classes, I guide students to build a foundation of steady technique while nurturing their personal sensitivity to form and rhythm. Art is not rushed. We learn through observation, repetition, and the gentle unfolding of confidence.
