藝術感言 / ARTIST STATEMENT
「花鳥小品」有別於大型創作的宏大敘事，更像一首首簡練而雋永的小詩。在有限的畫幅之中，筆尖專注於自然最細微的悸動。一瓣初綻的花、一雙靈動的眼。這類創作不求排場，只在筆墨的往復呼應間，尋得一份恬淡與澄明，是畫者與自然最私密、最純粹的對話。
Unlike grand compositions, “Bird-and-Flower Sketches” are like concise poems attending to the subtlest tremors of nature—a petal unfurling, a pair of quick eyes. These works seek clarity over spectacle, letting the dialogue between ink and paper become the artist’s most private whisper to the natural world.

「2014 市美畫院同學會聯展」匯聚九位畫者的精選作品，從工筆花鳥到水墨風景，各具個性又同承市美精神。是次展覽以細膩筆觸與恬靜意境，記錄香港水墨創作在當代城市中的一段珍貴軌跡。
This exhibition brought together selected works by nine artists, ranging from fine‑line bird‑and‑flower to expressive ink landscapes. Each piece carries its own voice while sharing the City Art Studio spirit, tracing a quiet yet vivid chapter of Hong Kong ink art within the modern city.
