藝術感言 / ARTIST STATEMENT

「花鳥小品」有別於大型創作的宏大敘事，更像一首首簡練而雋永的小詩。在有限的畫幅之中，筆尖專注於自然最細微的悸動。一瓣初綻的花、一雙靈動的眼。這類創作不求排場，只在筆墨的往復呼應間，尋得一份恬淡與澄明，是畫者與自然最私密、最純粹的對話。

Unlike grand compositions, “Bird-and-Flower Sketches” are more like brief, lingering poems. Within a small frame, the brush turns to the quiet details of petals, feathers, and branches, tracing the breath of nature and the light of an inner mood. Each piece is a pause—a moment to meet the seasons, and oneself, in stillness.

「2014 市美畫院同學會聯展」匯聚九位畫者的精選作品，從工筆花鳥到水墨風景，各具個性又同承市美精神。是次展覽以細膩筆觸與恬靜意境，記錄香港水墨創作在當代城市中的一段珍貴軌跡。
This exhibition brought together selected works by nine artists, ranging from fine-line bird-and-flower to expressive ink landscapes. Each piece carries its own voice while sharing the City Art Studio spirit, tracing a quiet yet vivid chapter of Hong Kong ink art within the modern city.
